MOUNT ROLAND ALPACA STUD

Welcome to the Mount Roland Alpaca Stud, situated in the delightful Tasmanian highcountry between Railton and Sheffield, under the gaze of the majestic Mount Roland itself.

Mount Roland Alpaca stud specializes in Black and Grey Suri but we also have other beautiful colours of both suri and huacayas. The luxurious fleeces are handspun and made into garments especially for you.

At Mount Roland stud our Alpacas have the best of care and where possible we use natural methods of farming and treatment. Our alpacas always enjoy a good chinwag and a scratch on the neck, they tend to be terrible time wasters.

We sometimes have Alpacas for sale so give us a call.

MOUNT ROLAND COLOURED SHEEP

A recent and charming addition to our small farm, characters that continually make you wonder. Our coloured sheep are mainly the beautiful Tasmanian Cormo's, our colour range is black, brown, grey and caramel. We have Panda, Georgia, Hannah, Clara, Cadbury, Milo, Blossom,Spring and the 2 bottle fed boys, Max and Chance. Cadbury presented us with Chocolate Chip.

To add to the fun we also have 2 tasmanian Lincoln wethers, Curly and Perm, Curly is white and Perm is a steel grey.

And there is more, 2 more rascalls, Tasmanian English Leicester girls, bottle fed scallywags, Miss Daisy and Miss Maple.

Tasmanian House of fibre only sources wool and fibre from growers that are passionate about their animals and keep them in good health.
