Supreme Suri Fleece at Burnie show

Wow! Exciting news.

Mount Roland Alpacas has taken out Supreme suri fleece at Burnie show

The fleece in question belongs to Silkwind Sparkes, her Dam is Silkwind Pristine and Sire is Baarrooka Simply Red, all three are owned by Mount Roland Alpacas.

Just to add to the excitement we have just had news that Sparkles fleece has also taken out the top spot at Launceston Royal with another Champion.

Sparkles and her full sister Silverleena are for sale.

Royal Canberra Show Success

Mount Roland Alpacas winning at Canberra Show in fleece classes.

Mount Roland LeMist won a second in her class under 12 months fawn Suri Fleece.

Mount Roland Midge won her class, Grey Suri fleece under 12 months and then took out Best in Colour, Wow!

Not to be out done, young Taylah came second with her entry Taylah Shae Princess Royal Garnet in the brown Huacaya fleece under 12 months.

Reserve Champion at Canberra Royal Show

Mount Roland alpacas are very excited

Lady Aimie 2, a black Suri alpaca won her class and then scooped the Reserve Champion Suri fleece over 30 months.

We are all still jumping up and down with excitement.

Just to top off our success, Forestglen Merlin came third in his class.

This is only the 2nd time I have shown our Suri fleece and the 1st time I have shown the huacaya fleece, so with a little more experience our results may improve, fingers crossed.

Aimie 2 or Sophie as we call her is currently awaiting her first cria, the expectant father is Serena Lodge Prince Stitch
